How to Find the Keywords that Bring Visits to your Site

It is especially useful to know what are the exact keywords that bring traffic to your site.

Even if you have Google Analytics installed, you cannot see all the keywords that bring visits to your website from organic results.

The reason is the non-provided keywords.

According to google, it is forbidden to publish in google analytics the keywords that came from users with https url. In other words, those users who search on google and the url has https (security), in the google analytics of the site they clicked on, the actual keyword is not shown but a non-provided keyword.

So in order to find all the clicks that have been made on your site per keyword you need to connect your website to Google’s webmaster tools. Webmaster tools are useful tools that help monitor, diagnose and control a site’s progress in Google’s organic results.

Connecting is an easy process and can be done in many ways such as: adding a tag to your site’s code, inserting a file into the site’s root folder, etc.
