About HYPERELEON

HYPERELEON is a polyphenolic olive oil known for its health benefits. It is a 100% natural Greek product deriving from the olive varieties of Olympia.

The Challenge

The promotion of HYPERELEON abroad and the strengthening of its brand name by highlighting its health benefits, were the main goal of our digital marketing efforts.

The aim of the producers was to immediately increase sales due to the large amount of stock they had and to create repeat customers.

The big challenge was to deal with the product’s weak digital presence and its uniqueness as a product, as it is a natural product that can be used as a substitute for medicine.

HYPERELEON products were sold through the enterprise’s website, g-team.gr, which lacked a comprehensive presentation of the product.

A landing page had to be created within a short period of time for the purposes of digital marketing.

Furthermore, a point that needed to be taken seriously into account in the promotion of the product was that any direct reference to HYPERELEON’s healing properties would expose the enterprise to huge legal issues.

We had to study several scientific papers on the health benefits of olive oil in order to safely and effectively plan our Digital Marketing strategy.

Website Design with Integrated Ecommerce

Pharmaceutical Design

We designed a landing page with a pharmaceutical design in order to connect the HYPERELEON brand with the health benefits it provides.

What set us apart from competitors was that we put emphasis on the health-protective properties of the product.

Ecommerce on Shopify

We chose Shopify for the business’ online store and used the Shopify Buy Button feature to add a buy button for each product to the landing page.

We managed to construct the landing page with an integrated e-shop in 1 month and this allowed us to get a head start on Digital Marketing.

Copywriting

Scientific data and studies on the health benefits and high nutritional value of the product were included in the landing page texts in plain and comprehensible language written by a specialized native English copywriter.

How a Local Product Became a Powerful Brand Name

Our Digital Marketing Strategy

Creating a brand name and connecting it with the health benefits it offers was the long-term goal of HYPERELEON’s Digital Marketing efforts.

Our plan included actions to promote the product abroad and achieve a direct increase in sales.

Multichannel Marketing

In order to achieve a direct increase in sales, we decided to list HYPERELEON on the Amazon, Ebay and Etsy shopping channels.

The text optimizations and utilization of marketing tools with discount coupons (coupons and promotions), as well as the encouraging of buyers to leave reviews (early reviewer program), quickly raised the product rankings and resulted in direct sales.

Successful Blog Posts

The creation of specialized articles combined with suitable promotional actions brought hundreds of visitors to the website’s blog.

Referrals from Forbes, USAtoday and other international portals further consolidated the product’s identity.

Social Media Marketing

During the COVID-19 outbreak, we took advantage of users’ heightened interest in strengthening their immune systems by creating a relevant blog post and Facebook ads.

With the use of 3-level layered targeting, we managed to attract a targeted audience to the website and registered hundreds of new subscribers to the newsletter.

Marketing Tools

The use of a social proof marketing platform, which displayed notifications to visitors regarding recent purchases that were made, increased user trust.

The presentation of discount coupons to the website’s most engaged visitors resulted in an increase in the conversion rate of visitors to customers by up to 100%.

Newsletter

Sending newsletters to customers with loyalty discounts and email reminders for users who had abandoned their shopping cart increased sales and repeat customers.

Advertising Revenue = Advertising Expenses

Due to the high level of competition and high CPCs, investment in Google Ads and Facebook did not deliver profits to our client.

However, thanks to the ROAS bidding we applied, we maintained a balance between advertising revenue and expenses.

In addition, we obtained a very important piece of information.

Potential customers of HYPERELEON and, by extension, of health products in general, seem to trust organic results and referrals from popular sites more than advertisements.

Global SEO

When SEO started, the hypereleon.com domain  was not indexed in search engines.

Creating quality content and backlinks from popular sites like Forbes (HYPERELEON), boosted domain authority and created a stronger identity for the product.

High search engine rankings for highly competitive keywords such as high phenolic olive oil, olive oil cholesterol and olive blood pressure boosted the product’s international visibility and sales.

YouTube Ads

The goal of the YouTube video ads was to promote the HYPERELEON brand to a broad spectrum of users (awareness) and to reach users with a high probability of being interested in the product (consideration).

So we followed the Awareness -> Consideration funnel to the letter and created powerful video advertising campaigns on YouTube.

We created the appropriate videos for each campaign and targeted different types of audiences (affinity, demographics, in-market, custom intent, customer match and remarketing audiences).

Over a 3-week period, the ads delivered the following results:

  • Brand Awareness Ads: 32,990 impressions with an average CPM of €4.42 and a view rate of 25.49%
  • Consideration Campaigns: 23,396 views with an average CPV of €0.01 and a view rate of 48.66%.

Meta Ads

Similar to video ads on YouTube, we also created video ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Over a 3-week period, the ads delivered the following results:

  • Brand Awareness Ads: 212,927 users were reached with an average CPM of €0.75,
  • Traffic Ads: 648 page views with an average cost per page view of €0.04.

Results

Our digital marketing efforts ranked HYPERELEON as one of the most popular polyphenolic olive oils worldwide, with referrals from Forbes and USAtoday, and we achieved a customer growth of over 3500% for the business.
